Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state; maintain licensure and CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in resident care and treatment as directed.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Ensure a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the team and families.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Coordinate ordering of durable medical equipment to support mobility.
