IDEA Public Schools in Texas seeks an Early Education teacher to ensure students master academics and social skills, while embodying IDEA values. You will set ambitious goals, plan rigorous instruction, assess progress, and engage families to achieve college readiness.

Responsibilities include implementing curricula, tracking progress, and providing after-school tutoring when needed. A Bachelor’s degree and teaching credentials are required with TX Reading Academies certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• K-12 classroom experience preferred.
• Reading Academies certification or willingness to obtain TX training within required timelines.

Responsabilités

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Assess and track each student’s progress and adjust lessons accordingly.
• Communicate students' progress with students and families weekly.
• Host tutoring sessions after school or on Saturdays as needed.
