Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a strategy and organizational senior consultant to help USDOT and clients achieve mission success. The role emphasizes collaboration with government leaders, client engagement, and delivering high-quality solutions across policies and operations.

Ideal candidates bring strong critical thinking, client support experience, and the ability to mentor junior consultants while managing engagements and solution implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Three (3+) years of management consulting experience, preferably within the public sector.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel.
• Ability to work in a Guidehouse Office or Client Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-quality client deliverables that meet client requirements.
• Develop detailed project schedules to monitor performance.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Develop detailed status reports for individual programs.
• Work with diverse stakeholders to fully understand business requirements and interdependencies.
• Work with stakeholders to help keep projects on-time and within budget.
• Lead the facilitation of client meetings, work groups, or interviews.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff.
