Job summary

Nordic Global seeks an experienced EHR Application Analyst II for Government Programs to provide advanced support for clinical and business applications within Managed Services. You will manage incidents, documentation, and vendor relationships while assisting with upgrades and project tasks.

The role requires healthcare IT experience, ITIL-aligned processes, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Occasional on-call rotation and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Sciences, or related field.
• 8+ years' experience in healthcare IT or IT application analyst role.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with ITIL-aligned service management processes (Incident, Request, Change).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience managing application support and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to application support requests and incidents within defined SLAs.
• Manage application and team documentation lifecycles.
• Maintain and expand relationships with software vendors to ensure top-tier support.
• Plan and execute application upgrades and security patching.
• Achieve necessary certifications and engage in professional development.
• Lead smaller analyst-led projects with scheduling, coordination, and status updates.
• Gain proficiency in clinical and business workflows.
• Develop and maintain detailed architecture documentation and system diagrams.
• Support the full lifecycle of applications including implementations, upgrades, decommissioning and data archiving.
• Work independently and escalate appropriately after due diligence.
