Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, student affairs, or a related field required.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in higher education.
• Experience with federal, state, and higher education policies.
• Knowledge of transfer articulation agreements and Maryland ARTSYS.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual academic advising to transfer students using developmental and proactive approaches.
• Meet with prospective transfer students to discuss course selection and pre-matriculation advising.
• Assist students in understanding degree requirements and transfer credit evaluation.
• Coordinate with Admissions, Registrar, and transfer coordinators regarding cohorts and credit evaluations.
• Plan transfer-specific programming and events to promote academic success and campus integration.
• Prepare enrollment, retention, persistence, and assessment reports using institutional data systems.
