Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing, a leading employee-owned auto metal stamping supplier, seeks an experienced press operator for the Holland, MI plant. You will set up and run up to 2,000-ton transfer presses, perform quality checks, and record data in the Plex ERP system.

The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, attention to safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced stamping environment. The position is on the Z shift, with weekend coverage as needed, and offers a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience running stamping presses preferred.
• Prior experience performing die-set ups preferred.
• Experience with part transfer systems preferred.
• Experience with stamping machines (AIDA/Version/Eagle) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust stamping press per JES and die set-up sheet.
• Stamp product per job element sheet using Plex system.
• Verify steel coils and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Perform daily inspections and quality checks; record data in ERP/Plex.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area and assist cross-training.
