Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI is seeking a Stamping Press Operator to set up, run, and monitor up to 2,000 ton transfer presses. You will ensure quality stampings per JES, inspect parts, and record results in the Plex ERP system.

The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, standing and bending during long shifts, and occasional weekend work on a Thursday–Sunday schedule. Training is provided for cross‑center operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• One year of stamping press experience (preferred).
• Die-set up experience (preferred).
• Experience with part transfer systems (preferred).
• Experience with AIDA, Version and/or Eagle stamping machines (preferred).
• Ability to adjust press speed (required).
• Ability to set press height (shut height) (required).
• Ability to read and interpret JES (required).
• Ability to use gages (required).
• PC and keyboard/mouse skills (required).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds (required).
• Team-based work approach (required).

Responsabilités

• Set up and run stamping presses to meet JES and quality standards.
• Monitor runs and adjust presses as needed for quality.
• Record data in Plex ERP and complete inspection sheets.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow packaging/labeling procedures.
• Cross-train on multiple work centers as required.
• Meet daily production requirements and shift hours.
