Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing seeks a press operator to set up and run up to 2,000 ton transfer presses, ensuring stamped parts meet quality standards and JES specifications. You will monitor runs, perform quality checks, and record data in the Plex ERP system.

daily duties include loading coils, adjusting speed and height, and maintaining a safe workspace. Shift is Y, with weekend hours in Holland, MI.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret job element sheets (JES).
• Strong PC and data entry skills.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds.
• Able to adjust press speed as required.
• Able to set press shut height and adjust fingers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up stamping press according to JES and die-set sheet.
• Run press and monitor quality checks to meet standards.
• Reference Plex production orders for stamping.
• Load/unload steel coils ensuring correct material.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and complete paperwork.
