Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI, is seeking a skilled press operator to monitor up to 1,000-ton automatic presses, ensure stampings meet quality standards, and follow JES and Plex ERP instructions. The role requires reading, writing, and speaking English at work level and is scheduled for X shift.

You will perform inspections and maintain safety and cleanliness in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well enough to safely and effectively perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor up to 1,000 ton automatic presses to ensure quality stampings meet standards.
• Reference production orders in Plex to stamp product per JES.
• Load correct coils and position parts to produce quality stampings.
• Perform frequent lifting/moving up to 40 pounds; work in a fast-paced plant environment.
• Complete documentation and inspections to verify process stability and quality.
