Job summary

UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ invites applications for a Transfer Transition Generalist in Scotch Plains. The role supports graduates as they transition to four-year institutions, manages a caseload, and drives post-completion success through outreach and partnerships.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and experience in student services, advising, or transfer-related areas, plus strong data skills and collaboration with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in student services, advising, transfer services, or related areas serving diverse college populations.
• Experience collecting, organizing, tracking, and reporting student outcome data.

Responsibilities

• Advises and monitors an assigned caseload of prospective graduates and graduates, addressing transfer and post-completion barriers such as enrollment, transfer credits, financial aid, and scholarships.
• Conducts targeted multi-channel outreach and follow-up with prospective graduates and graduates.
• Develops tracking mechanisms to measure engagement, transfer enrollment, persistence, barriers, interventions, referrals, and outcomes; analyzes trends for reports.
• Serves as the operational lead for designated selective transfer, scholarship, and partnership opportunities, supporting eligible students.
• Develops and maintains relationships with four-year institutions and partner organizations; tracks participation and outcomes.
• Assists with transfer-transition workshops, webinars, partner events, and information sessions.
