Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word in Texas seeks a Transfer and Graduate Admissions Counselor to engage in recruitment and assist prospective students through applications toward initial enrollment. Travel is 50%, primarily local, with opportunity to support across UIW campuses.

Responsibilities include advising on admissions, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with staff to guide applicants through enrollment to completion of the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in admissions or higher education recruitment.
• Two years of recruitment experience in higher education or marketing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on admissions requirements and procedures, evaluating credits and interests.
• Respond to admissions inquiries with clear, timely communication through enrollment.
• Track communications and enrollment results to move applicants through funnels.
• Coordinate with staff to update student records and assist with enrollment.
