Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word is seeking an Assistant Director of Recruitment-Admissions to support the Director and Associate Director in expanding outreach and recruitment for UIW’s programs. The role includes 20% travel and oversight of FTIC admissions counseling, reporting, and process improvement.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years in higher education, with at least 2 years in supervision. UIW offers extensive benefits and a strong commitment to staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience working with students in higher education.
• Two (2) years of experience supervising or leading teams in projects.
• Proficiency with Banner, BDM/Imaging systems, and CRM management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate new student recruitment initiatives and activities.
• Establish relationships with external partners to promote the university.
• Coordinate strategic travel planning for recruitment and communicate progress to counselors.
• Oversee recruitment logistics and manage admissions department travel calendar.
• Provide leadership training and guidance to FTIC counselors.
