Job summary

Lindenwood University in the United States seeks a Specialist, Transfer Credit to lead transfer and articulation processes, evaluating and posting transfer credits from college credits, military credits, AP and IB exams. The role oversees the OneOrigin Sia transfer AI and manages the College Course TES database.

You will collaborate with enrollment counselors, academic departments, and advisors to ensure accurate credit transfer to meet program requirements and general education standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with familiarity with FERPA regulations and privacy laws in higher education.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in higher education required.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Maintains familiarity with FERPA regulations and privacy laws governing higher education.
• Serves as primary expert for transfer credit evaluation policies and procedures.
• Manages the evaluation and posting of transfer credits, including military and AP/IB credits.
• Collaborates with enrollment counselors and academic departments to determine credit transferability.
• Maintains and analyzes data related to volume, efficiency, and productivity of transfer processes.
• Oversees the transfer database and the OneOrigin Sia transfer AI system.
