Job summary

Oklahoma City Community College in Oklahoma City is seeking a Transfer Evaluation Specialist to research, evaluate, and post transfer credits, and to award advanced standing for prior learning experiences.

The role supports degree completion by ensuring accurate transfer credit in the student records, using AI-enhanced tools, and collaborating with admissions, records, and graduation services. Monday–Friday 8-5; some evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years’ work experience.
• Knowledge of automated systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse populations.
• Strong keyboarding accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Use AI-enhanced software to upload transcripts to the student record and index to the imaging system.
• Review accuracy of information transferred to student records and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure standard course equivalencies are updated and recorded in the automated degree audit system.
• Review and evaluate transfer coursework for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist with updating internal transfer data base and support enrollment by liaising with departments.
