Job summary

University of South Carolina is seeking a Transfer Credit Coordinator within the Office of the University Registrar. You will coordinate the evaluation and posting of domestic coursework to student records and support transfer students by ensuring timely updates to their records to promote student success.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and may involve experience with transfer evaluation and Banner SIS.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
  • Ability to create fully functional spreadsheets and be familiar with organizing and analyzing large sets of data.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Special Enrollment Request Form (SERF) approvals daily.
  • Coordinate receipt and posting of exam credits (IB, CLEP, DSST).
  • Assist in maintaining the Course Equivalency Table by sending courses for evaluation through TES and updating course information in Banner.
  • Process incoming transfer credit for undergraduate and Graduate School requests.
  • Assist with Commencement and other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinate transfer credit equivalency processing and updates to student records.

Position Description Advertised Job Summary The Transfer Credit Coordinator serves as a member of the Transfer Team within the Office of the University Registrar. This position coordinates the evaluation and posting of domestic coursework to student records. The Transfer Credit Coordinator supports our transfer students as they report transfer work taken at other institutions and ensures timely updates to their records to support their student success.

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
