Position Description
Advertised Job Summary The Darla Moore School of Business invites applications for a full-time Graduate Recruiting and Admissions Manager. The Graduate Recruiting and Admissions Manager is responsible for outreach, recruitment, admissions and enrollment of students. This position will support admissions operations, which may include coordinating the processing of program inquiries and phone calls, management of new applicant files and attachments, processing and management of all necessary and required admissions material/data.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Working knowledge of enterprise systems, university specific or corporate CRM’s, and various Microsoft Office suite software (Word, Outlook, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
- Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals, and ability to balance priorities.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and public presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with prospective students, parents, and guidance counselors.
Job Duties
- Positively influence prospect conversion through the various stages of the assigned graduate program(s) enrollment funnel by maintaining consistent contacts and monitoring progress from inquiry to enrollment. Provide excellent customer service by being knowledgeable, personable, responsive and proactive in counseling prospective students on program cost, application requirements, admission criteria, course offerings, program structure, degree benefits, etc. (Essential Function: Yes, Percentage of Time: 25%)
- Assist the Director of Recruitment with developing and executing annual recruitment plan for assigned graduate program(s) to increase program awareness, inquiries, applications, and enrollment yield. Regularly evaluate the performance of assigned programs and assist with reporting on the status of recruitment efforts. (Essential Function: Yes, Percentage of Time: 25%)
- Plan and conduct in-person and virtual events and information sessions. Manage the department webinar schedule. Identify and make recommendations concerning new opportunities for promoting the program, and review and recommend digital and print marketing collateral to support recruitment. Frequently monitor the website and communications for continuous improvement and assist the Director with yearly updates and marketing publications for assigned programs. (Essential Function: Yes, Percentage of Time: 20%)
- Coordinate undergraduate recruitment visits and admission pathway events with local, state and regional colleges and universities. Domestic and International Travel in Fall and Spring. (Essential Function: Yes, Percentage of Time: 15%)
- Daily use of the TargetX CRM and Database to manage communications, prospect activity, application review, interaction tracking, pre-registration and orientation activities, and various other uses. Monitor prospect communication and outreach by using reporting tools in the TargetX CRM. (Essential Function: Yes, Percentage of Time: 15%)
