Job summary

HarbourVest is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Transfer Agency Oversight team. You will deliver operational TA services to clients and partners in a collaborative, high-energy environment.

The role requires 2–4 years in financial services, with a focus on fund administration and transfer agency tasks. This position offers hybrid work and a base salary in the US market, plus potential bonuses and comprehensive rewards.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of fund administration and transfer agency processes.
• Eager to learn and motivated to grow in a fast-growing environment.
• Has a solid knowledge of private markets evergreen product; knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent client service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operational tasks related to TA processes
• Support internal business teams to ensure the TA process aligns with global operating model standards
• Join meetings with TAs, distributors, and other parties as needed
• Act as a point of contact for the TA and various HarbourVest operation teams
• Assist in calculating various distributor/intermediary fees and coordinating payments
• Help maintain and update documentation of the operating model
