Under direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II performs analytical and technical transactions service duties. The incumbent serves as the coordinator for various Transaction Operations databases and systems and is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, evaluating, and updating policies, procedures and processes related to the HR Transactions Unit. The incumbent also participates in developing and conducting training pertaining to Transactions team members, develops departmental memorandums to communicate policy changes from control agencies, and conducts various Transactions audits.

Working Conditions

Location: 1416 9TH Street, Floor 13 Sacramento, CA 95814

We offer a hybrid work schedule that is consistent with the department’s telework policy.

Hours: 40 hours per week, generally in an office setting with elevator access and a cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. The incumbent in this position has frequent contact with DIR staff, representatives from other State agencies, and the public in person, by telephone, and/or email. Much of this contact is of a sensitive and confidential nature. Extensive use of a computer is required. Being in a stationary position for long periods of time.
