Job summary

CohnReznick in New York is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Transaction Advisory Services group. You'll lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity and strategic buyers, assessing historical results and identifying sustainable earnings.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accountancy or Finance, strong Excel/PowerPoint, CPA preferred, and 2+ years in audit or TA. Travel may be required; US GAAP knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions.
• 2+ years of audit and/or transaction advisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from both private equity and strategic corporate buyers.
• Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings for a variety of industries.
• Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines.
• Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management.
