CohnReznick is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Transaction Advisory Services group in Chicago. The role focuses on buy-side and sell-side due diligence, analyzing financials, and coordinating with clients and teams to deliver high-quality reports.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 2+ years in audit or TAS in healthcare, strong US GAAP knowledge, and solid communication and project management skills. Illinois salary ranges from 85,000 to 130,000 with bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Strong current knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions.
• 2+ years of audit or transaction advisory experience in healthcare industry with providers, reimbursement risks and revenue cycles.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from both private equity and strategic corporate buyers.
• Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings.
• Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines.
• Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management.
