Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking an Advisory Manager to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements within our Transaction Advisory Services group in Illinois. The role involves analyzing financial histories, identifying sustainable earnings, and coordinating with clients and teams across multiple industries.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in audit or transaction advisory, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and a CPA or related certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions.
• 5+ years of audit and/or transaction advisory experience.
• Ability to travel to clients as required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment.
• Hands-on approach to ensure deliverables are met on time.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements from both private equity and strategic corporate buyers
• Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends to identify sustainable earnings for a variety of industries
• Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines
• Effectively write and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management
