Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking an Advisory Director/Managing Director to lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence within the Transactional Advisory group from Maryland. You will analyze financial statements, identify earnings trends, and coordinate with multi-level teams to deliver high-quality reports.

Remote-friendly, with expectations to travel as needed. The role requires 12+ years in audit and transaction advisory, CPA preferred, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA and other relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services, or mergers and acquisitions.
• 12+ years of combined audit and transaction advisory experience within various industries.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key player in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for PE and strategic buyers.
• Analyze historical financial statements and trends to identify sustainable earnings across industries.
• Coordinate with team and management regarding client expectations and deliverables.
• Prepare and communicate engagement reports and deliverables to client management.
• Mentor and coach staff on engagements.
• Be market-facing, participating in firm events and developing client/referral networks.
