Job summary

EY Parthenon in Hoboken, NJ seeks a Manager in Deals to deliver transaction support across the deal lifecycle. You will analyze financial statements, supervise due diligence teams, and advise clients on value drivers and post‑deal integration while traveling up to 50% as needed.

The role requires a relevant degree with several years of experience in audits, financial due diligence, and client communication. Monday–Friday, full-time position based in Hoboken with EY’s Total Rewards and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related work experience; Master’s degree with 3 years accepted.
• Minimum 3 years of external audits, financial due diligence and/or tax due diligence experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervising audits, due diligence, or taxes per US GAAS/GAAP/IFRS.
• Minimum 2 years supervising audit/due diligence teams of two or more staff.
• Minimum 1 year leading client-facing communications and business development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Transaction Support to help clients achieve strategic goals in acquisitions or divestitures.
• Examine financial statements to determine normalized cash flow and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Inspect books and accounting systems for efficiency and apply accepted procedures.
• Organize and maintain financial records; assess operations and suggest improvements.
• Advise on due diligence and integrate findings with client valuations and decision making.
