Job summary

EY-Parthenon in New York is seeking a Manager for Transaction Diligence and Transaction Analytics to lead data‑driven financial due diligence and market intelligence projects. You will query data repositories, identify patterns, and build sophisticated analyses to support buy‑side and sell‑side decisions.

You’ll present findings clearly to clients and senior leaders, guiding teams across diverse disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years progressive related work experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years of related experience.
• 3 years of experience leveraging accounting skills, including 1 year in a mergers and acquisitions environment.
• 3 years of combined experience analyzing data for financial due diligence and/or audit.
• 3 years of experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for data analysis, intelligence and reporting.
• 3 years of experience with data visualization, data management, analytics platforms, statistics, or programming (e.g., D3js, Tableau, PowerBI, Hadoop, SQL, Alteryx, SAS, Azure, SPSS, Minitab, Python, R).
• Domestic travel up to 50% to serve client needs.

Responsibilities

• Produce financial and/or market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports.
• Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources.
• Analyze large and complex datasets and build sophisticated transaction‑driven analysis to help address our client’s challenges in fast‑changing markets.
• Present findings to clients and leadership in a way that is easily understood by transaction professionals at all levels.
• Use data to solve complex challenges.
• Constantly research industry trends and technologies, including seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements to provide knowledge and insight to clients.
• Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
• Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress.
• Demonstrate in‑depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships and networks.
• Cultivate business development opportunities.
