Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Hoboken, NJ seeks a Deals Manager to support strategic transactions for clients, including acquisitions and divestitures. You will examine financial statements, assess cash flow, and advise on value drivers throughout the deal lifecycle.

This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model requiring in-person collaboration. The role requires advanced experience in financial due diligence, strong client communication, and leadership to guide multi‑staff engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field plus 3 years of related work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of combined external audits, financial due diligence, and/or tax due diligence with a public accounting or professional services firm.
• Minimum of 2 years of combined experience supervising the planning, execution, and reporting on audits and/or other due diligence under US GAAS/GAAP or IFRS.
• Minimum of 2 years of combined experience supervising audit, financial due diligence, and/or tax due diligence teams of two or more staff.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience leading client-facing communication and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Transaction Support professional to help clients achieve strategic goals in acquiring or divesting assets.
• Examine financial statements to determine normalized cash flow and ensure statements comply with laws and regulations.
• Identify key value drivers and suggest process improvements to reduce costs and waste.
• Advise clients across the transaction lifecycle—from strategic assessment to post-deal integration.
• Inform investment decisions by analyzing financial information to forecast business, industry, or economic conditions.
