Job summary

EY-Parthenon is seeking a Manager for Strategy and Execution - Deal Technology in Hoboken, NJ. You will lead engagements in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on technology integrations, carve-outs, due diligence and post-deal integration to maximize value.

The role demands strong leadership, deep IT and business transformation knowledge, and the ability to guide clients through complex transactions. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and progressive work experience in strategy, transactions or technology
• 2+ years of post-baccalaureate experience in technology, finance, operations or supply chain integration/separation
• 2 years of consulting experience and demonstrated engagement leadership
• Experience in business integrations, divestitures or carve-outs including quantitative and qualitative analysis
• 1 year of IT due diligence (pre-deal and post-deal) experience
• At least 2 years of experience in two of: IT risk assessment, IT strategy, IT processes/controls, IT applications/operating systems/databases, IT change management, IT organization transformation, IT operations/infrastructure, SDLC concepts, data analytics/visualization, RPA capability design, IT cost modeling
• 2 years of experience managing engagements and engagement budgets; willingness to travel up to 80% (national or international)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute mergers and acquisitions plans to maximize synergies and financial benefits, focusing on technology
• Provide operationally focused support across the transaction lifecycle (carve-out, due diligence, integration)
• Lead and motivate diverse teams of professionals; monitor progress and deliver quality client services
• Build long-term client relationships and networks; identify and cultivate business development opportunities
• Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge to drive value in IT-focused deals
