Job summary

Jay Peak Resort is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a large team in maintaining guest room cleanliness across the resort. You will assist in recruiting, training and coaching staff, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication across departments, with a focus on guest satisfaction and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• One year certification from college or technical school, or 3–6 months related experience.
• Ability to manage scheduling, labor standards, and budgets.
• Strong leadership and coaching to maintain standards across team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and training of Room Attendants.
• Monitor staff performance and coach for safety and department standards.
• Prepare and monitor housekeeping schedules and labor budgets.
• Maintain inventories of linens, chemicals, and supplies.
• Ensure secure handling of keys and safety compliance across shifts.
• Perform room cleaning when needed and support guest safety and security.
