Job summary

Jay Peak is seeking a Reservations Manager to lead Reservation agents and train front desk staff in selling resort packages and inputting guest bookings. You will help schedule employees, troubleshoot issues, and coach staff with HR and Lodging Bureau collaboration.

Involves reporting, rate setting, and maintaining phones and reservation systems. The role requires strong leadership, experience in property management systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs Reservations agents, trains reservationists and front desk personnel to sell resort offerings and input reservations for guest packages and accommodations.
• Helps manage employee schedules and troubleshoot personnel issues.
• Coaches performance of agents in collaboration with the Lodging Bureau Director and HR.
• Attends management/operational meetings as needed to align department with resort events and needs.
• Assists in reporting, rate building/maintaining, and coordinating upkeep of phones, software and materials for the department.
• Manages the extra-net for internet marketing sites.
• Performs the work of reservationists as needed.
• Adjusts errors and handles guest complaints.
