BioLife Plasma Services in Baton Rouge is seeking a Center Operations Supervisor to oversee daily production area activities and guide employees toward safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will supervise cross-training, orient new hires, review quality records, and escalate donor or worker concerns with the center manager. This role offers comprehensive benefits and a mission-driven environment under Takeda's support of BioLife in delivering life-changing therapies.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to walk and stand for full shift; frequent lifting up to 32 lbs and occasional lifting to 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception; monitor equipment from a distance.
• Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor center training needs and ensure cross-training and annual re-certification.
• Review Quality Control Records.
• Coordinate and perform new employee orientation and participate in the hiring process.
• Manage the production area and motivate staff to meet performance goals while upholding quality standards.
• Consult with management on escalated donor/employee concerns.
• Counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service issues; identify improvement opportunities.
