Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Center Manager to oversee the production areas and staff. You will report to the Center Manager and ensure training, safety, and donor care standards are met in a fast-paced center environment.

You will supervise hourly employees, drive performance toward goals, and participate in hiring and orientation processes while maintaining strict adherence to quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds, occasional lifting to 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens requires prolonged glove wear.

Responsibilities

• Monitor center training needs to ensure completion of cross-training and annual re-certification training.
• Review Quality Control Records.
• Coordinate and perform new employee orientation and participate in the hiring process.
• Manage the production area, motivate employees to meet performance goals and comply with quality standards and procedures.
• Consult and refer to management team for escalated donor/employee concerns.
• Counsel hourly staff on operational, safety, and customer service concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
