Job summary

GNCO, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Training & Safety to lead the organization's training and safety strategy, drive regulatory compliance, and elevate workforce performance.

The role partners with operational leaders to deliver technically sound programs, assess effectiveness using data, and build a high-skilled safety culture across all operating companies, while leading the Corporate Training and Safety Team and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Occupational Safety, Adult Learning, HR, Education, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in training, safety, or workforce development.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Experience managing safety programs, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the strategic direction of all training and safety programs across the organization.
• Develop and implement annual training and safety objectives that align with organizational goals.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements to processes, systems, content, staffing, and technology.
• Lead and develop the Training and Safety Team through coaching, goal setting, performance management, and succession planning.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and support organizational change management efforts related to safety, training, and workforce development.
• Present department performance, risks, trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
