Job summary

State of Arkansas is seeking a Training Supervisor/Expert to lead development, implementation and evaluation of state training programs at the Southeast Arkansas Human Development Center in Warren, AR. You will manage a team of trainers and instructional designers, aligning initiatives with agency goals and ensuring staff are equipped for optimal performance.

The role requires strong experience in curriculum design, both in-person and virtual delivery, and proficiency with LMS platforms.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required, plus 3 years of training related experience.
• Experience designing and developing training programs across curricula and assessments.
• Experience delivering in-person and virtual training (classroom, webinars, eLearning).
• Proficiency with LMS, eLearning platforms, virtual meeting tools, multimedia content creation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and evaluation of training programs within the department.
• Supervise a team of trainers and instructional designers; provide guidance and mentorship.
• Oversee delivery of training programs to meet organizational objectives and employee needs.
• Coordinate and deliver in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback and performance metrics; adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
