Job summary

180 Degrees is seeking a Training Specialist to turn our training plan into engaging, effective programs. You will develop eTrainings, create webinars, and apply adult learning theory to ensure measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, teaching, or related field; 3+ years' experience as Training Specialist.
• Associates degree and relevant work experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
• Engaging presenter in varying settings including in-person, virtual, and eTraining.

Responsibilities

• Be the LMS Administrator for learning platforms, ensuring licensing, funding, and internal policy compliance.
• Present at new employee orientation to set the tone for day-one experience.
• Record and edit webinars to capture learners' attention from start to finish.
• Apply adult learning theory to design trainings with measurable outcomes.
• Develop trainings with subject matter experts, turning complex topics into clear learning experiences.
• Maintain an annual training calendar covering compliance, policies, procedures, and more.
• Ensure trainings align with 180 Degrees brand, mission, and trauma-responsive philosophy.
