Job summary

Career Team LLC is seeking a Training Coordinator to deliver customer-centered workforce development services and guide program participants through education and training opportunities. You will collaborate with training providers, Career Advisors, and staff to ensure accurate information, timely reporting, and successful outcomes.

The role is onsite in Snohomish County, WA, with travel to support program activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong communication skills and knowledge about community resources
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-thought-out decisions
• Must be computer literate and have MS Word and Excel skills at minimum, and the ability to learn specialized databases and software systems
• Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment - must have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate participants towards achieving goals
• Knowledgeable about the WIOA program and other workforce program requirements
• A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient in maintaining a high level of confidentiality
• Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• A Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary liaison with training providers to develop new and nurture existing provider partnerships
• Educate participants to the advantages of training and upskilling to broaden employment opportunities
• Ensure approved and current information regarding the Eligible Training Provider’s List is available to program participants and staff
• Maintain and disseminate approved vendor information and performance outcomes to staff and participants
• Facilitate group and individual assessment, eligibility and training information sessions for program participants
• Participate in the assessment of participant marketability skills to determine training suitability
• Review participant training needs and identify aligned career pathways
• Assist with completing and reviewing training account packets to ensure compliance
• Provide timely reports for Career Advisors including pipeline of candidates and programs
• Consult with Career Advisors on support services to achieve outcomes
• Maintain detailed documentation in the state system of record
• Support off-site events
• Track progress for individuals and teams using platforms/databases
• Meet and exceed program benchmarks
• Maintain strong business acumen and a solutions-oriented mindset
• Participate in staff events as required
