Job summary

Commonwealth of VA Careers is seeking an Assistant Learning Partnership Coordinator to assist the statewide learning manager, helping develop a competent workforce and expanding continuing education opportunities across class titles through the learning partnership program.

The role includes monitoring the annual training budget, processing Learning Partnership applications and training records, and coordinating training logistics while maintaining materials and AV equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to coordinate meetings and classes.
• Ability to organize and manage records.
• Knowledge of budget tracking and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of office principles and practices.
• Skill in computer software programs, such as MS Office Suite, and automated financial programs.

Responsibilities

• Process Learning Partnership, seminar, and technical training requests according to policy.
• Review Learning Partnership applications and requests for complete detail and compliance; contact applicants for more information.
• Design and distribute marketing materials for Learning Partnership Program to ensure clarity and increase participation.
• Generate quarterly reports to ensure adherence to guidelines and monitor accounts owed back to Learning Partnerships.
• Maintain database of money owed and coordinate communications to ensure follow up on collection of funds.
• Maintain and develop monthly budget reports; reconcile vendor statements and analyze discrepancies.
