Oorwin AI is partnering with a government client to recruit three Training Officers to develop and deliver C-FIRST training for DCS staff in Tennessee. The role is hybrid, with in-person and virtual instruction for diverse staff across the state.

The ideal candidate will have training experience with C-FIRST or similar systems, strong communication and facilitation skills, and a Bachelor's degree. Some travel within Tennessee may be required, with collaboration between state staff and Deloitte.

Job description

One of our clients in the government domain is seeking three qualified and passionate individuals for the role of Training Officer. This position is responsible for developing and delivering training on C-FIRST, Tennessee’s Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System, to DCS staff. The ideal candidate will have training experience in this system and a working knowledge of training computer systems as well as a strong background in training delivery. This position is hybrid, located in Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver C-FIRST training to DCS employees, covering the range of C-FIRST application modules and tasks specific to varying roles within the system both in-person and virtually.
• Develop training materials for specialized tasks in C-FIRST.
• Generate data within the C-FIRST training sandbox for use in C-FIRST training.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts from the Department of Children’s Services and Deloitte to enhance training development and delivery.
• Provide web-based technical assistance to staff to facilitate system learning.
• Utilize Microsoft Teams and other digital platforms to conduct and support training sessions
• Collaborate with training team members and program leadership to ensure consistency and quality in training content and delivery
• Travel will be required within the State of TN.

Minimum Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in training delivery, adult education, or staff development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and other virtual training tools
• Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving training environment
• Bachelor's Degree is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering training in a government or human services setting
• Experience training computer systems
