Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a Training Specialist to implement and facilitate learning programs across assigned areas. You will collaborate with instructional designers, test courses, and lead sessions to improve performance and align with policies and procedures.

The role requires analyzing operations, creating resources, and leveraging NFLC tools for tracking participation and outcomes. Occasional travel and flexible hours may be required, with supervision as needed.

Formación

• Ability to adapt to fluctuating work-load.
• Experience with classroom instruction and/or facilitation for individuals or groups.
• Experience in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to translate processes into understandable terms.
• Experience with data gathering, analysis and reporting to measure training effectiveness.
• Familiarity with Navy Federal products, services, and policies.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with others to plan and design courses and curricula; ensure accuracy of content and test multimedia elements
• Conduct needs assessment on request from business unit management to provide customized training or individual guidance to improve and develop performance
• Create reference and support tools that reinforce training
• Develop and enhance training content and technique to ensure that learning objectives meet training requirements
• Facilitate classroom interactions to ensure optimum engagement levels from participants
• Identify and recommend new and novel training approaches and modalities
• Implement most effective instructional approach via virtual instructional led training (VILT) or instructor led training (ILT)
• Liaise with Navy Federal Learning Center to communicate programs; register participants; track attendance; assessments; and monitor workshops
• Plan, coordinate, manage & deliver training programs; may include ad hoc training
• Train employees on concepts, products, policies and equipment used in the position
• Measure and provide feedback on training effectiveness to ensure learning objectives are achieved
• Support research and analysis of requirements and processes
• Identify and develop recommendations for business process improvement
• Mentor and counsel trainees
• Serve as subject matter expert regarding business functions, systems, policies and/or procedures
• Set performance standards and expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned
