Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s construction management system, in both virtual and in-person settings. You will work with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure participants gain the knowledge to use the new system effectively.

The role requires strong facilitation, software training experience, and the ability to support large-scale change across multiple locations; 100% travel is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years related experience; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training per approved lesson plans and materials.
• Respond to questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain classroom engagement and manage students effectively.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of feedback and measure training effectiveness.
• Provide recommendations to improve training delivery and materials.
• Represent the training team to Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment.
