Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training for a Federal Government client’s new construction management system. You will conduct both virtual and in-person sessions for diverse audiences, ensuring knowledge transfer and successful adoption across locations.

The role requires strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with extensive travel—100% as needed—and a commitment to training excellence in a dynamic, nationwide program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience delivering software application training or enterprise system training.
• Strong classroom facilitation and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and in-person environments.
• Conduct training per lesson plans and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Collect student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Recommend improvements to training delivery methods and materials.
• Represent the training team with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployments.
