Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training in support of a Federal Government client’s implementation of a customized construction management system. The role entails both virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, project managers, engineers, construction staff, leadership, and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. 3 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Emphasis on strong presentation and public speaking, plus ability to train across multiple locations.
• Experience with software application training or enterprise system training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Conduct training in accordance with approved lesson plans, course materials, and instructional guidelines.
• Respond to participant questions and provide functional guidance during training activities.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement throughout training sessions.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers regarding course schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery methods and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team when interacting with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption efforts during CMP deployment activities.
