Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Training Facilitator to deliver instructor-led training in support of a Federal Government client’s construction management system implementation. The role includes conducting virtual and in-person sessions for personnel, project managers, engineering staff, and external contractors to ensure they gain the knowledge and skills needed to utilize the new system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years of related experience with travel may be required.
• Experience delivering software or enterprise system training is preferred.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional best practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in virtual and classroom environments.
• Follow approved lesson plans and materials during training.
• Respond to participant questions and provide guidance during training.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Participate in Train-the-Trainer activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with Training Managers and Program Managers on schedules and logistics.
• Track attendance and course completion metrics.
• Support collection of student feedback and training effectiveness measures.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training delivery methods and materials.
• Serve as a professional representative of the training team with Government personnel and external stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Support change management and user adoption during CMP deployment activities.
