Position Summary

Assessment & Learning produces complex performance examinations for medical students. The Training Specialist contributes to this mission by training Standardized Patients (individuals from the community) to portray clinical cases for medical students to demonstrate patient communication and physical examination skills. In addition to possessing excellent training skills, the successful candidate must be able to plan, schedule, recruit, interview, develop training materials, and evaluate outcomes. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to adapt to the unexpected and to collaborate effectively with other Assessment & Learning team members. Typical Work Hours:
M-F, 8AM – 5PM, may have earlier or later work hours duringassessments

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Additional Requirements

- Although on-site presence is a requirement of this position, the opportunity for a flexible telecommuting schedule may be available after the probationary/training period and supervisor/manager approval. - Working hours are M-F, 8AM – 5PM, and may have earlier or later work hours during assessments.
