Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Training and Development Manager to lead a team delivering onboarding and learning for U.S. Commercial field staff across multiple units.

You will partner with Training & Development directors and field managers, overseeing remote onboarding, live and virtual trainings, and performance coaching in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Accelerating Talent Director, this hybrid role requires in-person trainings at Amgen headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent.
• Master’s degree with 2+ years pharma/training experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years pharma/training experience.
• Associate’s degree with 8+ years pharma/training experience.
• High school diploma with 10+ years pharma/training experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Training Associates.
• Escalation point for operational, process, tech, and stakeholder issues.
• Manage onboarding communications for new hires and managers.
• Coordinate and monitor attendance at Concur training and LMS tasks.
• Run reports from LMS, Tableau, and Zoho for training metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align priorities across units.
• Support live training events and space allocation for onsite sessions.
• Oversee USBO sales training budget and forecasting.
• Drive special projects and process improvements.
