Job summary

Amgen Ohio is seeking a Training & Development Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of training and onboarding programs. The role partners with HR and managers to apply performance technology and create compliant, continuously improving operations across the site.

The successful candidate will have advanced degrees or equivalent experience in instructional design or related fields, strong leadership, and expertise in LMS, e-learning tools, and performance analytics.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent in related field.
• Master’s degree with 2+ years in instructional design, human performance tech, life sciences, or training.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in instructional design, etc.
• Associate’s degree with 8+ years in instructional design, etc.
• High school + 10 years in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Apply human performance theory to identify performance solutions.
• Design and develop training using instructional design methodologies.
• Maintain training materials and LMS integration.
• Lead new hire onboarding for Amgen Ohio (AOH).
• Ensure training content complies with standards and CI goals.
• Provide strategic planning for future curricula projects.
