Job summary

Jobtailor in Arlington, VA is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to support EHR implementation and deliver diverse training programs to end users in hospitals and clinics.

You will conduct classroom instruction, computer-based training, scenario-based practice, and hands-on coaching; facilitate learning and provide ongoing support to users throughout the lifecycle; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption.

• Support client electronic health record (EHR) implementation


• Facilitate learning activities including classroom instruction, computer-based training, scenario-based practice, and hands‑on coaching


• Support end users in learning and effectively using new EHR systems


• Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the training lifecycle


• Facilitate client training strategy at assigned sites through virtual training sessions at hospitals and clinicals


• Collaborate with cross‑pillar workstreams


• Document successful completion of technical and functional user training


• Attend and/or lead meetings with stakeholders at multiple levels


• Attend internal and external meetings

Requirements

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD \"PUBLIC TRUST\"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse


• US Citizenship required; no sponsorship available


• Bachelor's Degree; FOUR (4) years of additional professional experience in lieu of Bachelor's


• Minimum of THREE (3) years of training experience


• Experience working directly in the Oracle Health/Cerner EHR as a clinician, administrative staff, or other end user


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and related applications


• Ability to identify and address client needs


• Ability to prepare concise, accurate documents


• Organized, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


• Ability to excel independently and as a team member


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive leadership


• Ability to manage deadlines and recurring deliverables


• Quiet workspace to deliver learning with supporting IT accessories, including access to a cellphone


• Access to a working cellphone required during onsite activities
