Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Training and Adoption Consultant to support an electronic health record (EHR) implementation. The role involves onsite facilitation of learning activities, including classroom instruction, CBT, scenario-based practice and hands-on coaching to prepare end users for the new EHR system.

Travel up to 100% is required; the candidate will engage hospitals and clinics, deliver training across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats, and support go-live readiness and post go-live

Qualifications

• Must have training experience and ability to deliver education across multiple sites.
• Experience directly in Oracle Health/Cerner EHR as a clinician, admin staff, or end user is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present to executive leadership and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training sessions across hospitals and clinics in person, virtually or hybrid.
• Lead learning labs and go-live readiness activities while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing end-user coaching and support throughout the training lifecycle.

This position will help prepare end users for the new EHR through onsite facilitation of learning activities such as classroom instruction, computer-based training, scenario-based practice and hands-on coaching. Trainers position end users to acquire the knowledge and skills to effectively use their EHR systems and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the training lifecycle. The candidate will:Facilitate education of the client’s training strategy at assigned sites through training sessions at hospitals and clinicals through various training types including in-person, virtual or hybrid.Collaborate with cross-pillar workstreams.Document successful completion of technical and functional user training.Attend and/or lead meetings with stakeholders at multiple levels.Attend internal and external meetings.Support go-live readiness activities including learning labs, sign on fairs, favorite fairs.Support go-live activities at hospitals and clinics.What You Will Need:Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with GuidehouseDue to contract requirements, US Citizenship restrictions apply: No sponsorship availableBachelor's Degree; FOUR (4) years of additional professional experience in lieu of Bachelor'sMinimum of THREE (3) years of training experienceAbility to work 12-hour shifts on site during pre- and post go-live activitiesExperience working directly in the Oracle Health/Cerner EHR as a clinician, administrative staff, or other end userKnowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products and related applicationsDemonstrates abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of firm services; preparing concise, accurate documentsMust be organized, self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic work environmentDemonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a lively, collaborative environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive leadershipAbility to manage deadlines and recurring deliverablesQuiet workspace to deliver learning with supporting IT accessories including access to a cellphone.
