Job summary

Responsibilities include ensuring curriculum alignment, maintaining records, and adapting training to site-specific needs. A history in industrial safety and related fields is preferred; travel is extensive.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and presentation skills.
• Requires at least 2 years of experience in industrial safety, construction, rigging, cranes, or related fields.
• Must be able to travel extensively (approx. 90%) to Bishop Lifting branches, customer sites, and more.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, physical and background check (including MVR).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Position Overview:

Bishop Lifting is seeking a confident, adaptable instructor who is comfortable delivering hands-on and classroom training in industrial environments and enjoys working with diverse client groups across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instructor-led industrial safety and technical training at customer sites nationwide
• Represent the company professionally in field and classroom environments
• Ensure training is delivered in accordance with company curriculum and applicable standards
• Maintain accurate documentation, attendance records, and certifications
• Adapt instruction to meet site-specific and client needs

Training Areas Include (but are not limited to):

• Overhead Crane Operator Training (Awareness & Responsibility)
• Rigging & Lifting Safety Training
• Fall Protection Training (Authorized, Competent Person, Train-the-Trainer)
• Confined Space Awareness & Rescue Training
• OSHA-aligned industrial safety courses

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess the ability to travel internationally as needed
• Ability to travel extensively (approx. 90%) to Bishop Lifting branches, customer sites, and more
• Prior experience in industrial safety, construction, rigging, cranes, or related fields (at least 2 years)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently in field environments
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical and background check (including MVR)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• NCCER Certified Trainer
• Previous instructor or training experience
• Familiarity with OSHA / ASME safety standards
