Job summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. is seeking an inside sales professional in Tampa, FL to assist with customer communication, order entry, troubleshooting, and various administrative duties. The role supports growth through inbound leads, quotes, and product recommendations.

The candidate should have strong customer service skills, 5+ years in sales (industrial preferred), proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work rotating Saturdays. A background check and drug test may be required.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
• Strong phone etiquette and experience dialing multiple calls per day.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (At least 1 year required).
• At least 5 years of sales experience preferred (Inside or Outside), preferably in an industrial environment (manufacturing, distribution, oil & gas, etc).
• High sense of urgency in regards to deadlines.
• Self reliance, lack of supervision required in daily tasks.
• Willingness to reach out to potential or existing customers with a helpful attitude.
• Must be willing to work rotating Saturdays.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical if applicable.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Source new sales growth opportunities through inbound lead follow up, proactive calls and emails.
• Record, track, and follow up on quotes/estimates.
• Assist in greeting customers and aiding with recommendations of product type, quality, and quantity of merchandise sought for purchase.
• Compute charges for merchandise or services and handles payments in a timely and professional manner.
• Assisting in corporate inventory controls.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
• Assist branch in administrative functions such as recordkeeping, billing, time and attendance, accounting functions and communication with corporate departments.
• Perform other functions as required.
