Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a trainer for the 2nd shift to deliver safety and forklift training and continually improve orientation programs. The role ensures new team member documentation is completed and filed in their records, with annual training for plant staff and on-the-job coaching.

Interpreting support may be provided as needed, and acclimation of new team members is part of the scope. Candidate should have high school diploma or equivalent, strong presentation and organizational skills, and

SUMMARY :

Responsibilities include: conduct safety and forklift training and continually improve classroom orientation programs; ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner and submitted to their file; annual training for plant employees and on the job training for Employees. Other duties include: assess the need for interpreters in various departments for communications clarity and coordinate the assistance of the interpreter; assist in acclimating new Team Members in and around the confines of the facility and with the qualification process; other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS :

Experience : Knowledge and understanding of the work performed in the area of responsibility preferred. Previous training or Production experience preferred;

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills - Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal written and presentation skills.

Special Skills : Must be comfortable in presenting material to large groups; strong organizational skills.

Education : High school graduate or equivalent required.
