Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a training-focused professional to deliver safety and forklift training, and to continually improve orientation programs for plant employees.

This role ensures new Team Members complete required documentation promptly and supports annual and on-the-job training initiatives. The role includes coordinating interpreter support across departments to ensure clear communications, assisting in onboarding, and guiding candidates through the qualification process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience preferred in training or production environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present to large groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and forklift training; improve classroom orientation programs and ensure documentation is filed correctly.
• Assess interpreter needs across departments and coordinate interpreter support.
• Assist in onboarding new Team Members and guide them through qualification processes; perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• conduct safety and forklift training and continually improve classroom orientation programs; ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner and submitted to their file; annual training for plant employees and on the job training for Employees.
• Other duties include: assess the need for interpreters in various departments for communications clarity and coordinate the assistance of the interpreter; assist in acclimating new Team Members in and around the confines of the facility and with the qualification process; other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience: Knowledge and understanding of the work performed in the area of responsibility preferred. Previous training or Production experience preferred.
• Computer Skills: Standard computer skills - Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal written and presentation skills.
• Special Skills: Must be comfortable in presenting material to large groups; strong organizational skills.
• Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
